The player we wanted, so we built it.

SoundFlame started from a simple frustration: it's 2026 and playing a folder of lossless FLAC files on a Mac — with lyrics that actually keep time — is still harder than it should be.

The good options are bloated, cloud-locked, or quietly watching what you listen to. So we built the player we wanted. Native and fast, built on the Mac's own audio engine. Honest about the format you're hearing. Lyrics that highlight and scroll line by line.

And a hard line on privacy: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your music never leaves your Mac.

SoundFlame is made by ShaStack (SHASTACK INDIA TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED). We're building the kind of software we like to use — careful, quiet, and respectful of the people who run it.
